Our company
Golden Equity Properties was formed in 2001. We specialize in the acquisition and management of multi-unit residential properties in the Quebec and southern Ontario markets.
Our group currently has different partners in our real estate holdings in major Canadian cities. We have been focusing on purchasing quality multi residential properties in preferred locations. GEP’s targets value add oppotunities and is continuously looking to grow. We are active and hands on with our management and have been very successful increasing the value of every property in our portfolio.
The principals of Golden Equity Properties have a wealth of real estate experience both through ownership and property management as well as commercial financing and leasing. We maintain strong relationships with several financial institutions, trust companies, pension funds and secondary lenders. Our relationships with brokers & agents who are connected to property owners can often bring us opportunities to purchase properties that are either not listed or not widely available to others.

OUR EXECUTIVE TEAM
Michael Bregman
Managing PartnerMichael Bregman is a managing partner and co-founder of Golden Equity Properties. Michael has over 20 years of experience in banking and finance. His experience involves first and second mortgages, factoring, purchase order financing as well as asset based lending.
Michael currently oversees all day to day finances at Golden Equity, conducts property due diligence and vendor negotiations. He also arranges acquisition financing as well as existing property refinancing following increases in NOI.

Steve Bromberg
Managing PartnerSteve Bromberg is a managing partner and co-founder of Golden Equity Properties. Steve has over 25 years experience in multi-family real estate and has completed over $3 billion of real estate financings in his career. He maintains relationships with over 100 banks and lending institutions worldwide.
Steve currently oversees the acquisition of properties, arranges financing and structures new capital raises for future acquisitions. His work has led to increase in property operating income across the portfolio.

Managing PartnerDerek Labell is a managing partner and co-founder of Golden Equity Properties. He has over 30 years experience in commercial, retail, industrial real estate leasing and financing across Canada.
Derek currently oversees all of Golden Equity’s property management. He interacts with all property managers and site staff to help improve buildings through renovations, capital expenditures and energy efficiencies.
